My Dad bought a lot of farm equipment from Rene. Rene once drove a self propelled combine all the way from Swanton to Grand Isle early one morning because it was too big to fit on his delivery truck. That was before the new bridge between Stanton and Alburgh. Mom used to say when she heard Rene ‘s laugh, my Dad had bought something. RIP, Rene. You deserve it. —- Myra Gordon
