Shawna and I were so blessed to have Rene as our Step Father, life will never be the same with out him. Love him and miss him dearly.

Loretta and Shauna my breath was taken away when I found out your father had passed away on the 13th of February. You ladies were not only an amazing source of strength for your father but additionally for myself and my family and I truly hope I can return the favour. We was saddened when we read about Rene Houle passing on. We were good friends 50 years ago when we worked together at the Dunvegan Bridge at Fairview AB. We was a hero to many of us that worked there by his amazing physical strength and agility. We were looking forward to reconnecting with him this up coming summer at a planned 50 year reunion of the bridge construction.We will say a prayer for him and will be thinking of him at that time.
