Not sure what to say?

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

I knew Rene when we were both at Purdue University (1971-1973). I have thought of Rene many times over the years, especially when our company has been involved in the local Cancer fundraiser. I am saddened by her passing. She was a lovely person and a good friend. I would have liked to have seen her again.

I wondered what she had done after she graduated from Purdue, and was surprised to see that she had been a guidance counselor at Providence High School in Clarksville,...

Word has reached us here at Our Lady of Providence High School regarding Rene's passing. We are deeply saddened and wish to express our prayers and sympathy to her family. She is fondly remebered by many of the faculty and staff at Providence. May she rest gently in the arms of Our Lady and her Heavenly Father.
