Holding Noelle and her family in love and healing light. While I did not know Rene, the light and warmth and kindness that shines through her daughter touch me deeply. So sorry for your loss. Yes she was a kind soul. She took me in couple times when I was doing my craziness when I chose to be homeless. I will always thank her for tht. May she rest in peace and be remembered through those around. Good is pleased with her and Ik she is in heaven cheering and loving.

I'm so sorry to hear of this. I attended leadership training with Rene and was very inspired by her courage and forthrightness.

Rene came to me a grieving mother reaching her hand out to another. Meeting her outside Steep n Brew on State Street when she was 19. We became roommates and life-long chosen family. I have so much gratitude for having had Rene in my life. Thank you dear friend for everything, especially your poetry and the lovely human daughters you brought into the world.
