Rene Marie Reeb

Grandma, I will always remember the times you took me to your favorite breakfast places, taught me how to bake the tastiest cupcakes, and pushed me to pursue a career where I could give back to the community. All of the memories you´ve given me have been an inspiration and a source of happiness during difficult times. I miss you and love you from the bottom of my heart, and I will always remember the care you had for me and others. May your soul rest in peace.

Thank you Aunt Rene for the many, many wonderful memories. I can never forget your kindness.

My introduction to this kind, compassionate, intelligent woman was at UMMC where she taught my first graduate course. I remember her talking about her foster daughters as she used life experiences to teach us the importance of culture and caring. I visited Dr. Reeb when she came back to live at St. Catherine’s. We talked a lot about her time at UMMC. She loved teaching and touched so many through her lifetime of giving to others. Dr. Reeb’s donations to the School of Nursing helped students...
