On Friday, August 25, 2023, the golden gates of Heaven were opened as our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend, REÑE MARTINEZ ROSALES, answered the call of our Lord Jesus Christ and went home to rest at the age of 71. She was born March 6, 1952, in Las Cruces to Lucia Silva and Ernesto B. Martinez. Reñe was employed as a manager at Blake’s Lotaburger for many years. She was a lady of very strong faith, where God came first in her life, her loving family and grandchildren, friends and we cannot forget the casino.  Her big smile and loving heart would greet you at her front door always.


Survivors include her children, 4 sons, Johnny G. Rosales Jr., Fabian E. Rosales, Eric M. Rosales (Marci), and Adam M. Rosales; 2 daughters, Andrea M. Rosales, and Amanda Martinez Garica (Jose) all of Las Cruces; her husband, best friend and father of her children, Johnny J. Rosales; 2 brothers, Christopher G. Martinez (Sandra), and Michael J. Martinez (Jennifer); all also of Las Cruces; 4 sisters, Manuela M. Estrada (Charlie), Dilia M. Flowers (Stanley) and Carla S. Martinez all of Las Cruces and Celestina Madrid of Anthony. Other survivor included 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Edna Zieske. 


Visitation for Mrs. Rosales will begin at 9 AM Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Calvary Christian Center, 4211 Elks Drive where the Funeral Service will be at 10 AM with Pastor Mark Jordan officiating. Concluding Service and Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5140 W. Picacho Avenue. 


Serving as casket bearers will be Eric, Adam, Daymian and Dominic Rosales, Jose Garcia, and Michael Martinez. Honorary bearers will be Joshua and Jordyn Cornejo, Jazmin and Lilly Rosales, Aaliyah Garcia, and Alexis Hernandez.
