Rene was a great leader, friend and mentor to many of us who still strive to achieve his level of engineering and personal excellence. The technologies and people that he nurtured are still the cornerstone of our business and will be for years to come. His dedication and contributions to his staff and this Company will never be forgotten.

To Gloria and Rene Sandeau's family,

Having worked with Rene through the decades of the sixties, seventies and eighties at the Martin Company, I knew first hand his passion for his work and for the people that worked with him, and for whom he had the responsibility in guiding careers. We shared the pain of having to lay off some of those during the periods of time when funds for programs were short.

We also shared the grand feelings of being able to rehire many of those...
