I also got to know Rene through senior softball. He was the consummate competitor and great pitcher as well as a friend who cared about his teammates. Rest In Peace Rene

I know Rene from Relics senior softball. We have played together for many years in the league and in tournaments all over the east coast. At first, like most people, I was well aware of his gruff exterior. After getting to know him I found that he was really a kind and loving person and an especially good friend. I guess he just didn´t want everyone to know what a "softie" he really was. He joins his compadres of the "three amigos" - he, Roger Lacoste and Bob Auchy! Rest In Peace Rene.
