Just learned today of Renee's going on ahead in May. Always a friend! I am forever grateful for that graced dispositon of hers! Her smile was like bottled sunshine. There was so much of it that it just had to light up her face and those of all around her who saw it. Awwww... Renee. Pray for us who need such in our lives here now. Blessings to all her family and friends.

I just found out about your passing. It feels like there are no words that will fully describe the impact you have had on my life, but I need to try. Renee, you were a shining light. You loved me fully and unconditionally even when I was just trying to learn how to love myself. Your compassion and graciousness taught me so much about the woman I wanted to be. Renee and the Asmar family have been long standing members of the Jewett City community and their contribution to the town and to St. Mary's church will be long remembered.
Renee with her ever present jovial personality will be missed. A life with so much yet to give ended way too soon
