Renee Cevallos Obituary
Renée Maria (nee Turner) of Emerson, NJ formerly of Ridgefield Park, NJ passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on February 2, 2017. Beloved wife of J. Carlos Cevallos. Devoted mother of Giovanni T. Cevallos. Loving daughter of Maria (nee Quail) and Henry "Gil" Turner. Dear sister of Robyn Dritschel and her husband Steve and Paula Loverich and her husband Scott. Cherished aunt of Alyson and Ryan Dritschel, and Scott, Andrew and Sara Loverich.
She graduated from Montclair State University and received her Master's degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She was a CPA with Ernst and Young, Secaucus, NJ for 22 years. She was a professor at Devry Institute and Southern New Hampshire University. She was a member of the NJCPA and of the AICPA. She was a co-leader of UNITY.org and a parishioner of Church of the Assumption, Emerson, NJ.
The family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on February 6, 2017 from 4-8 PM. Funeral Liturgy at Church of the Assumption, Emerson, NJ on February 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Giovanni T. Cevallos College Fund c/o Robyn Dritschel, 201 Emerson Road, Westwood, NJ 07675 would be appreciated. Becker-funeralhome.com

Dear Maria and Gill, words cannot express how you feel or how I am feeling for you during these past few heaviest days of your lives. My only hope and prayers for you is that you keep Renée and good memory. I will always remember my big cousin taking me to Dairy Queen in her convertible Rabbit, building random forts in our grand parents basement in Jersey City, babysitting me as I tormented her the whole night and seeing her at family events. Last time I spoke to you was on the phone early summer and instead of telling me about your life you were more interested in what was going on in my life. It just shows how caring you always were. I am going to miss you Renee. You will always have a special place in my heart and I will never forget the time we had together. I love you!

My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. I had the honor of meeting Renee during her work at EY. I will always remember her beautifully genuine smile. such a pleasant person. Her eyes sparkled with love whenever she spoke about Giovanni or Carlos.

So sorry for your loss. I just found out, so sad. Renee was a fantastic person who would light up every room she would enter. I always enjoyed seeing her at work and at the many Ernst & Young events. Renee had enough personality for 10 people. A spirit so bright just has to go on so Heaven watch out, there is a new party planner in town and she brought all her fancy high heels with her.
