Not sure what to say?

I want to express my deepest sympathies to my friend and co-worker Shawn Eley and to his and Renee's family. Sincerely, Joanie Fink (RN)

Miss Susan Thomas, former physical education teacher of Renee at George County High School, now of Laurel, MS, asked me to convey her condolences to Renee's family. All teachers should be so fortunate to have such a student. You are in all our prayers.

Renee and I were classmates in high school, my husband Jason went to school with Renee from 1st-12th grade. In November, I visited with Renee when I picked up tickets for a field trip as I did almost every year. We laughed about being the oldest mothers in our class and how we thought that being older made us cherish our families even more than most. I will never go to the Events Center without thinking of her,our prayers are with your family. Renee will be missed by many.

Larry, I was saddened to hear of your loss. I never met Renee, but I know she was a remarkable woman. My prayers are with you and your beautiful children during this difficult time for you.

Renee and I were good friends and roommates for 2 years in the little house on Morgan Ave. We had lost touch and I am so sorry to hear she has passed away. We took a wonderful 2 week road trip to the Northeast in the fall of 1985 and I have many pictures of her from that trip and other times. I would like to give these to her family, especially her children. If you would like to e-mail me an address, I would be happy to send copies. God bless you all. Polly Ryan, [email protected]

I have been truly sadened to hear of Renee's passing. I have not seen her is several years, she was such a good friend in high school and someone I looked up to. She will be truly missed.

Larry and family -

Lane and I were deeply saddened to learn of Renee's passing - she went so suddenly. We will keep you in our prayers and trust the the Almighty will lift your burdens. All things are possible with prayer.

Due to the timing we are unable to console you in the manner we'd prefer, but our hearts are with you in this time of grief.

Requiescat in pacem.

I am a former schoolmate of Renee's. I haven't seen her in along time. The news of her death was really a shock. The last time I seen her she was doing wonderful and healthy. We should all learn from this how precious life is and live it that way.

So glad that Neiva & I were able to have you, Renee and the children over at the house for a visit. We'll never forget it. We're sorry we could not be there for you at this time. Our thoughts are with you and the children.
