RENEE GILODO Obituary
(born 1920) passed peacefully on February 18, 2018. Her intellectual curiosity, sharp wit and zest for life were appreciated by all. Born in Milan to a Salonican family, she lived in Europe, Egypt, Turkey and New York. Her extraordinary life closely mirrored major European events of the 20th century. Predeceased by her beloved husband Boris, Renee leaves behind her daughter Anita (Joseph Baird); her son Roger (Ida); grandchildren Max, Isaac, Karen (Joel Benabu) Dorit Shackleton (Peter); great-grandsons Luke, Kieran Adam and Ethan. Services Wednesday 1:30pm at "The Riverside," 76 Street and Amsterdam Avenue. In lieu of flowers donations to MJHS Hospice may be made.
