Renee D. Gittler

I too was a disciple of Mrs Gittler's chemistry class at Penn State Allentown in the 80's . I will never forget the time the entire class did poorly on balancing equations. Instead of simply working with " the curve" ( a standard practice at Penn State Main on just about every engineering/ physics exam i ever took) she took it upon herself to reteach and retest us as if it reflected on her ability to instruct. Happy to say the entire class got it the second time around with flying colors!...

To Mrs. Gittler's family, On behalf of Fellowship Community I want to express our deepest sympathies over the passing of Renee. It was our privilege to have had a share in her care, and I trust she sensed something of the great love of God for her in that care. Ms. Gittler was my instructor in basic chemistry at Penn State-Allentown in 1983. I remember her as being a very good teacher, and a kind and considerate person. May her memory be a blessing.
