Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Renn's passing. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Renn & Betsy at MacLeod' Beach & Campsite... I loved when he would come in and play his flute and step dance. Renn loved our Traditional Cape Breton music. He truly was an inspiration... Fly High my friend.

Renn taught me how to do many things and was a great guy. I met him my first summer in Homer 1973.... I am glad that I saw him last fall. When I am working in my shop I start early, have a 30 min lunch and when people stop by I keep working.

He can truly dance.. Burn your campfires bright my friend.

I am on a junk in North Vietnam, not quite like the Tolman skiff!

Renn and I met in Homer, AK in 1971. At the time, we were part of a small group of people who found Homer as a place to define our lives. Renn was a great friend to me; at the time I was 23 years old. Now 43 years later, I will remember him as a wonderful friend..

Well you've gone ahead old pal, on to the great dancehall in the hereafter. Now you know the great secret. I'll miss you my friend and hope to see again down the road.
