Reshenda Denean Williams Rounds died on October 14, 2016 at the age of 45. She was a native of Los Angeles, CA and a resident of Gray, LA.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time at 11:00 a.m. at Living Gospel Church, 14 Corporate Drive, Houma, LA.

Burial at St. Luke Cemetery, 3755 Bayou Black Drive in Houma, LA.

She is survived by her husband, Spencer Rounds Sr.; three sons, Spencer Rounds Jr., Jeremy Rounds, and Tyrone Amacker; stepbrother, Nelson Williams Jr.; one daughter, Shanisha Rounds and fiance', Clifton Fletcher; mother, Regina Cook-Williams; three sisters, Carmencita M. Faison, Angelle M. Williams, and Ceirrra A. Williams; one stepsister, Kemery Williams Short (Howard); and three grandchildren, Kyrielle Rounds, Mylaiya Simms and Imbre Fletcher.

She is also survived by her devoted god-parents, Harold and Symentress Turner; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Williams; and sister, Angela Williams; maternal grandparents, Hurley Sr. and Symentress Calloway Cook; paternal grandparents, Martha and Cleveland Williams; stepfather, Nelson Williams Sr.; stepbrothers, Billy D. Williams and Anoka T. Jones.

Reshenda was the strength and support for many family and friends.

She had a personality that everyone instantly fell in love with.

She enjoyed baking deserts and family gatherings. She was a loving and devoted grandmother.

She was a 1988 graduate of H.L. Bourgeois High School and she received her undergraduate and master's degree from Nicholls State University. She was employed for 21 years with Nicholls State University as an Assistant Director of Student Employment.

Reshenda Denean was a beautiful young lady who displayed love and kindness. She was bright, intelligent, and had a smile that made others feel happy. She supported her family with love and devotion.
