Growing up with Reta, I always admired the way she took joy in the smallest of things like baking a great cake. Things like this really are important in the scheme of life, to be able to enjoy the simplest of things..and smile a lot. That is the one thing I think of most when I think of you ...your smile. It could light up a room! You were very loved, and will be missed immensely.

Dear Annice, Gideon, Kaytee and Chaz,

I am so very sorry that your wonderful Mother and Grandmother is no longer here so that you can see her beautiful face or feel her warm embrace I know she will always be watching over you and your families smiling, guiding and encouraging. I don't know even where to begin....Reta came into my life when I needed a friend so very, very much.....She never wavered in that friendship...She always understood....I remember our "Special Morning Time". Sitting on her front porch Drinking Coffee and watching the World wake up in front of us...Playing Skip-Bo with her, Aunt Marie and Sue...She had a heart as big as Texas...always giving of herself and whatever else she could provide...Reta, I will miss you so very, very much....A part of me will never be the same and yet a big part of myself is enriched and enlighten by our times together and will be with me forever...See Ya Later, My Dear Friend...
