Not sure what to say?

Lloyd Coley was an excellent leader who saw in me what I didn’t see in myself. It was an honor to serve in his unit at Ft Hood, and I owe him a best of gratitude. Thank you “Top”, I hope we see each other again on the other side.

Continue to rest peacefully cousin. My condolences to the family.

I would like to say it was my honor to follow him

It was a honor to meet and care for Mr. Coley. I met him at his ALS clinic appointments at the VA. He was kind, appreciative , and always had a smile to give. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Mrs. Coley, I send prayers of comfort and my deepest sympathies to you and your family. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. He was an inspiration to me as a PFC arriving to his unit for my first duty station at Fort Hood. Such parting is sorrow of nothiing sweet except precious memory of legendary gentleman of faith, hope and unsurpassing love, both in family and community. How honored to have walked with you both, speak with both, learn from esteemed scholars and dream unseen visions. Such has been a private privilege. Divinely-rooted sleep devoutly earned is honor to be praised. Mrs Brenda Coley, you are loved. Sympathy to us all.

My deepest condolences to the Coley Family. I appreciated CSM Coley. I was glad that I reached out, and we texted a month ago. Memories of CSM Coley, 1-44 ADA CSM, will always be cherished.
