Retta Jean Morton

Retta was my placement person soon after I moved to Atlanta in 1984. She found me temporary office assignments more than once. So long ago, I can't recall how many. Anyhow, we became good friends as she eventually invited me over to her house and made us lunch! Fond memories of her. If I had lived in a house, I would have invited over to my place to visit. Eventually, I obtained a full time job in office work and we lost touch, unfortunately. Last week her name came to mind, so I did...

Retta was a good friend in choir and I visited with her several times in Lithia Springs at Christmas where we would go shopping at a cute store that was a house there. Fun times to remember and she was a good listener and friend. Thank you for touching my life and so many others! RIP my friend!

Retta was quite a lady. She lived a full life and it was a pleasure to get to know her. I helped her out while she was still in her home in Lithia Springs, GA. We also attended Church together and I went with her to listen to the Choir she once performed in. She shared many pictures and stories with me. Lisa Daniel Lithia Springs, GA
