I will miss Dr Cherniack. He taught me a lot and was very straightforward in his interactions with you, which I appreciated. As a first year fellow in 1993, he invited me to my first Denver Broncos game (along with Dr Talmadge King) because his daughter could not make the game. His understanding of pulmonary physiology was second to none...I can still hear what he taught me when I interpret lung function tests now.
