Reuben LeRoy Roberts, 84, of 24 Eaton Ave., a former Minnesota resident and retired bait shop owner, died of a stroke Monday at a local hospital.Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Lawn Memorial Chapel. His ashes, along with his wife's, will be buried in White Rock, S.D., next summer....

My Mother, Judy Mills, sent me the link for Reuben's obituary via email and I wanted to express my condolences. When I was growing up in Gibson Flats I used to frequent the store owned and operated by Reuben and Ethlen. I used to saunter down to the store a few times a week with my $1 and spend a good half hour picking out the items (I don't think the items ever consisted of anything but candy) I wanted.
