I think there was mutual respect, which I appreciated as a white woman working por La Causa. I´m so glad to read he continued on organizing. What a selfless life he led! Bless his spirit and his soul. RIP, Reuben. You fully deserve it!

Saddened to read of Ruben's passing....my sincerest condolences to the Serna Family. Over 60-years have probably passed since our paths last crossed; we both earlier attended Houston Elementary School and Lodi High. Ruben accomplished so much since those days!
