Not sure what to say?

Dear Charlotte, Cathy, Fred, Phil, and your families,

Your father and mother were very special people to me. Your father's career calls to mind the words in an old hymn: "Brighten the corner where you are." Your Dad and Mom brightened many corners and many hearts. May your faith and warm memories sustain you now and in the years to come. With deepest sympathy, George

He was my doctor as a child. Delivered all of us. All I had to do was see him and I felt better! I thought of him over the years and am deeply saddened by his passing.

Dear Char,

We are praying for comfort for you. You have so many wonderful memories of your father.

The best Uncle ever. Many memories of his visits to Tick Ridge, South of Wayland. The best story teller & listening to he and his Brother, Glenn was CLASSIC! He lived a GOOD life & the best M.D. ever! He delivered our 2 sons.

I just learned of Reuben's passing. I have many fond memories of your father. He was generous, funny, an excellent physician, outstanding teacher, humble, unique. He was a delight to work for and am so grateful to have known him.

I was his patient and his friend. He was one of the greatest people I have known in my life. His spirit will be missed. Fred or Phil, if you read this please know you are lucky to have had him in your life. I would love to hear from from you both. I am unable to attend the services but please contact me @ [email protected]. from: Sheila Hurt

Best uncle in my family -- so lucky to have known him. He always made each person he met feel he love them and we were special human beings. Wonderful man!

Charlotte and family,

I have been out of work and just read the passing of your DAD. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I enjoyed listening to Reuben, and conversing about his Physician Days which fell in the same timeline as when my Mom was a nurse and all those appendectomy surgeries he did. I know we have another angel in Heaven. He put the word GENTLE in Gentleman! I will miss him and will always carry a piece of him in my heart. Love, Debbie
