Services for Rev. Anthony Kofi Buckner, age 72 of Palestine will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday April 2, 2022 at Bailey & Foster Chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Rev. Buckner passed away February 10, 2022 in Palestine, Texas . He was born May 6, 1949 in Kpando V/R Ghana to Aldebert Anky Buckner and Anastasia Tagbotor Buckner.

He is survived by his wife Rev. Mrs. Juliana Okoe-Buckner, son, Josiah Anku Buckner and daughter-in-law Mrs. Deborah Buckner, four grandchildren, Dziedzorm Buckner, Esenam Buckner, Fafa Serena Buckner, and Edudzi Kosi Buckner, he is also survived by his siblings, Stella Buckner, Raymond Buckner, Patrick Buckner, Emmanuel Buckner, Cecil Buckner, Alberta Buckner, Margaret Buckner, Joan Buckner, Dorothy Buckner, and Josephine Buckner, John Afidemenyo, Vincent Tsekpo, Delali Tsekpo and Eugene Taata Tsekpo.

A wake keeping and viewing will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M., on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.
