Rev. Letha Fuller Populis, age 75, of Slidell, LA, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Calvin L. Populis, Sr. Mother of  William Populis, Calvin L. Populis, Jr. (Mary) , Beulah A. Nowlin (Howard), Rebekah Boos, the late Delores Populis and Cynthia Jones Chisham. Daughter of the late Walter Fuller and Nellie Moak Fuller. Sister of Delbert Long, J.W. Fuller and Minnie Fuller. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A native of Brookhaven, MS., and a resident of Slidell since 1981. She was a pastor of Christ Gospel Church in Slidell, La.


Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Christ Gospel Church, 3228 City Drive, Slidell, LA., 70458, on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.

Interment in FOREST LAWN CEMETERY.


Visitation at the church on Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and on Thursday after 9:00 A.M. until funeral time.

I miss you mommy

I miss you

Rev. Ann loved and cared about everybody. When I was around her I always felt loved and at home. I will miss her greatly. She had a great mantle for GOD's word and prayer. Always taking care of someone with love and selflessness. She was a true women of GOD.

Words cannot express the appreciation I have for knowing you. You were always so giving of yourself and always pointing everyone to Jesus. I will forever be grateful for the privilege of sitting under your ministry. You fought the good fight and now you have true victory. Rest in the arms of your precious Savior Rev. Populis. I love you. Prayers for comfort and strength for all of Rev. Populis family.

I am so thankful that God blessed me with knowing Ms. Ann. She inspired me by her selflessness and beautiful smile. The joy of God radiated from her beautiful spirit. Rest in peace, Ms. Ann

Rev Populis was a living example of God's love. She strived for the highest call of God in Christ Jesus. She will be missed.

An awesome servant of God. Loved hearing her preach. She is rejoicing with her bridegroom!
