Not sure what to say?

Father Dentici, my memories of you are when you were at St. Cecelia’s and I was in SCS school. Thank You for your kindness to the students. RIP Father Dentici your with the Lord who you served so well.

Ten years today since his death. A wonderful person and priest. We only met him after we moved to SS in 2004 and thoroughly enjoyed his homilies, the men's retreats he led and the dinners he joined with us. He was one of those that made Steamboat Springs special for us.

Msgr. Dentici was a wonderful priest loved by many . He was in St Cecelias in Iselin when I was in grammar school . A great man.

Father Thomas Dentici was my first cousin. I had not seen him since we were young adults. When father Tom went to Steamboat Springs we never saw one another again. We lived in Brooklyn New York. Of course, I always knew what he was doing because my Uncle Sal, Father Toms dad, kept me informed. When I got married, I asked Father Tom to marry me but he couldnt get back to New York to perform the ceremony. My Uncle Sal moved to Colorado to be with Father Tom when he got older. I know he wanted...

This is late coming in, but somebody triggered my memories of Father Tom, and I searched for him.

I was a ski lift operator in Steamboat springs 1984-1986. Father Tom used to ski with an orange jacket and the Christian cross on the back which was very similar to the jackets the Ski Patrol wear. He was a great minister to all the mountain employees. He organized full moon cross country skiing on Rabbit ears pass at night. He regularly organized group downhill skiing with the...

Fr Tom was a great priest and human being. I will always remember going to mass at St. Marys of the Crown on Sundays to hear his sermons. He really spoke to me, despite the old fashioned style. Last time I saw him in 2007 at the movie theater in El Jebel with my pregnant wife, and he put his hand on her big belly and gave her a Brooklyn blessing, and Ill never forget that. I was glad I was able to see him and give him a hug, as it was the last time I would see him. I never got up to...

I remember Father Dentici from St. Thomas in Old Bridge N.J..He was a wonderful man and a great priest. There was nothing not to like. My father loved him because he used to play cards with the guys after bingo. I was a lousy altar boy and used to mumble my Latin because I didn't know it. Father Dentici would whisper, "Better start learning your Latin Mr. Saulnier". He didn't yell, he just whispered. Went on for years.

Fr.D,
I was so lucky that I was able to see you in Colorado last yr on our trip. You have meant so much to me in my life, a guiding spirit when I needed heartfelt questions during trying times. I will always remember our shell spaghetti/meatball dinners mom made. Give my dad a big hug from me. I will love you always.

A wonderful priest, friend & man. I was an altar boy under father & he took all the altar boys to Seaside Heights. He married my wife, Carol, & I in 1967. May peace be his for all eternity
