We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother, David. It sounds like he was an outstanding example of love and Christian giving. We are unable to attend the funeral, but please know that our thoughts are with you all during this trying time. Childhood companions, lifetime friends.

Justine at her 40 year retrospective
I can't believe one of my dearest friends is gone. We were close friends for almost sixty years. His life was love for his church and God. The Lord had an important job for him in heaven that's why he took him so suddenly from all of us. Dave was a friend, a comfort to all and the kindest person I knew. May his love of God shine down on us as we remember a caring, wonderful man and friend.

We are stunned to learn of Dave's death, but then everyone must be. A classmate sent his obit onto us while we were away on a brief trip (our return was this afternoon).
