REV. BEN DEVILLE

Funeral services for Rev. Ben Deville of Nebo will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 8, 2015 at Shady Grove Pentecostal Church in Nebo with Rev. Curtis Thornton and Rev. Curtis Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Nebo Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Jena. Friends may call Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 5 to 9pm and from 8am on Monday until time of service at the church.
Mr. Deville, 85, of Nebo was born on April 23, 1930 in Jena and passed from this life on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at his residence.
Ben was owner and operator of Ben?s Backhoe Service. He served as a Minister in the United Pentecostal Church for 30 years. He served as pastor at Jonesville and Eva United Pentecostal Church, churches which he started. He loved his role as Granddaddy and he loved his grandchildren. There was nothing too good for them. He served his country in the Army during World War II.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 61 years, Norma Walker Deville; daughter, Dianne Wiley of Jena; sons, Dennis Deville and Donnie Deville, both of Jena; sister, Shirley Floyes of Jena; brothers, Lewis Deville of Colorado, Doyle Deville of Jena and Lloyd Deville of Jena; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Lonnie and Lillie Bradford Deville; sister, Orlean Collins and brothers, David, Lee Roy, Clyde and Emile (Coon) Deville.
Pallbearers will be Seth Deville, Shaun Deville, Joel Alexander, Darrel Alexander, Johnny Wayne Bradford and Darren Wiley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dick Zeagler, Lester Francis and Jackie Alexander.
