Rev. Mitchell was a great supporter of the Prison Ministry at Phelps Correctional Center of DeQuincy. He served faithfully with my husband, Chief of Security, Col. Harry L. Hooker, Sr. for many years. Rev. Mitchell was a dear friend of the family. Though I’m just hearing of his passing today; I send heartfelt condolences to the family!
