Rev. Dr. Robert A. Happel

Rev. Dr. Robert A. Happel, 83, a resident of the Community at Parkview in Sandusky, Ohio, formerly of Amherst, Ohio, senior pastor of St. Peters United Church of Christ from 1966 until his retirement in 1981, passed away at Parkview Health Care Center in Sandusky on the night of Thursday, October 19, 2000, following a lengthy illness. Friends may call on Sunday, October 22, 2000, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Avenue, Amherst. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, October 23, 11 a.m., at St. Peters United Church of Christ, 582 Church Street, Amherst, officiated by the Rev. David Gross, pastor, and the Rev. Herbert Reichert of Parma, Ohio. Burial will be at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
