I first met Pastor Metz and Eunice when I moved to Texas in 1985. He had me play for services at St. Timothys when they were located on 249. He was instrumental in getting me the organist position at St. John Lutheran, Cypress. Eunice and Pastor were my surrogate parents for Rolands and my wedding April 1,1989, as mine could not travel from Ohio at the time.
