Rev. Lewis Nutter, age 85, of Steger, Illinois went home to his Lord and Savior Thursday, December 22, 2022. Beloved husband to Mary Ann Nutter, nee Nygren. Loving father to Debra (Richard S.) Michniak, Leslie J. (Kimberly) Nutter and Jennifer Klein. Cherished Papa to Richard Lewis Michniak, Michelle (Aaron) Moore, James Michael Vela II, David (Alexis) Michniak, Kailee (Dustin) Wilson, Arlis Nutter, Mary Elizabeth Nutter, John Nutter, Brayden Klein, and Abigail Nutter. Fond Papa GG & Popi to Stella Marie, Paisley Jo, Madison Skye, Dolly Mae and Chelsey Juliana. Dearest brother to Gary (Late Sue) Nutter, and Morris (Joan) Nutter. Rev. Lewis was preceded in death by parents Leslie and Mary Elizabeth Nutter, and siblings Lloyd and Leslie “Bud” Nutter. Rev Lewis was a devoted pastor of Full Gospel Tabernacle Church of South Chicago Heights since 1985. He will be deeply missed by his parish, family and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 2, 2023 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, IL. A prayer service will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, IL. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are appreciated.
