Not sure what to say?

Dud and I were roommates in our senior year at Muskingum University. We had a great time, and many memories were made. I also was a Groomsman at his Wedding. May God bless his family as they go forward. RIP my friend.

Dudley holds some very special memories of my/our years at Grove City College. He was great as a counselor as well as from the pulpit. My favorite memories, however, are of him marrying my husband and me 51 years ago in Ohio. He had come to Ohio for the wedding, and there were a few remarkable moments which I doubt Dudley had ever encountered in his many times as Officiant. He wrote a beautiful ceremony for us and I used his closing prayer as the grace I said at my son’s rehearsal dinner....

We were sorry to hear of Dudley's homegoing. Our prayers go with his family as they share his loss. Dudley married us in 1972 while students at Grove City. Though only 10 years older than us, we appreviated his good counsel in our marriage prep meetings - and obviously this was effective. We just celebrated 51 years with 10 children (7 adopted) and 10 grandkids, with faith that is strong and connected to church and community, and three decades of teaching and administration in a vital...

38 years ago today in Ellwood City Pa Pastor Dudley married me and my husband. I will always remember this man. My deepest sympathy to all.

I only new him for a short time. I enjoyed his sermons. I was so surprised that he was from Elwood City Pa. I have family there. I enjoyed his stories .

Dudley was instrumental in bringing to our church some needed healing. He later included prayers for my husband, Newell, when Newell received a heart pump (LVAD) in 2013 and endured pancreatic cancer surgery in 2014 and lived well another eight years. He brought grace and faith back into Newell's and my lives. Thank you, Dudley, for including us in your and many others' prayer lives. I can't say enough good about Dudley. He blessed us all with his example, his wisdom, his leadership, his...

With love to the family from Montana. Dudley served several churches here as an interim pastor and was dearly loved by the congregations and the presbytery.

We hadn’t seen Dudley in awhile, but the memories from years ago came back so vivid. Westfield Church pastor/ family friend , Dr. Dudley (his name sake racing pony), lots of time spent at the farm, babysitting Debbie and Sheri, and he even came back to Westfield and presided at my wedding.
Please know that the remaining Trotters are there in thought and prayer. The world lost a great man.

God gave us a special and unique creation in Dudley Rose. His special presentation of God's message and outlook on life drew me and my husband, Bob, into the church life at McDonough Presbyterian Church. My heart will always hold him dear. Dorothy, you and all the family who are now missing him so, are in my Prayers. May sweet memories fill the spaces now occupied by tears and sadness and the comfort of God's promise in life everlasting fill you with comfort.
God's peace and...
