Not sure what to say?

My most sincere condolences to Fr. Bills family on his passing. Fr. Bill was a great teacher and priest. As the years passed and we all got a little older Fr. Bill would reach out to me after my wife passed away to chat a bit and catch up. I was a student, BCHS class of 1991.

Father Seifert was a good Priest who took his time out of his day for me to come in for confession and prayer no matter what time was it during the day or evening. At that time I was only visiting from NYC every month. May the Lord have mercy on his soul.

Fr Bill was a high school acquaintance of mine back at Nativity. We met a few years later strangely enough on a plane to Pittsburgh. And our paths crossed several times since when he was living in Reading. Rest in peace, Bill.

Thank you for your humor and levity while
our children’ would altar serving for you when you would splash them with the water after you washed your hands. You truly brought a smile to all of our faces. May you rest in peace.

Thank you Father Bill, for being s special part of our family . There for Kaitlin First Confession to her Confirmation. You were the only priest that could sign and help her feel apart of the church. there is a hole in the deaf community and you made it special and everyone welcome. Rest in Peace you will be missed .

Father Seifert was not only my teacher at CCHS but also my parish priest at St. Francis. He kept in touch via Facebook and reached out to me on several occasions to provide help and guidance. May he rest in peace.

Thank you Father Seifert for all your priestly services to your spiritual children over the years. Special thanks for your efforts in implementing the Latin Mass at Saint Stephen’s of Hungary in Allentown from 2006 to 2015 when Father Pendergraft took over.

Fr Bill was my high school theology professor. I remember his funny stories. His jokes. And his great lessons. Thank you for being a great teacher and awesome priest. He showed how much he cared about us, even when keeping us in line.

Father Seifert was a pastor of souls to the end. He spent his last years in a nursing home parked in front of a fish pond in a power chair yet when you asked him what he wanted to pray for he always said, "The residents here." He was deeply concerned with the suffering of those around him. I never heard him mention his own. One day, I asked him what he wanted for himself and he said, "Return to ministry." I told him that he was still living his priestly ministry but as the suffering Christ....
