Rex was my attorney and friend. He was always straight up and a man who knew the meaning of justice.

Rex, was my Criminal Justice teacher many years ago at Clark County Community College, great person great teacher great friend.

Years later after his passing I still remember his generosity and welcomed me into his home as a fan of his mothers... today and forever Ill always have wonderful stories to tell of our friendship...

Another National Finals Rodeo over, Every year at this time I think of Rex and the fun we had at the Gold Coast and then the South Point. I miss you Rex. We will meet again.

It's hard to believe that it's been slighty over 7 months since Rex Junior died of cancer on July 8 of last year(2011). It's a shame that I never got a chance to meet him, so that I could talk to him about his mother, Clara Bow. From what I gather, he seemed like a nice fella, and, a good person to know. Rest in peace, Rex Jr. =)

I know Rex since about 93 or so..I a fan of his mother Clara Bow..He would be friends with her fans..Rex is and always will be a true soul..All who had the honor of knowing him are truly blessed..Rex is now riding the Heavenly range..God Bless You..signed with respect.., Mark And Amanda Darling

Rex and I worked together when I was director of the forensic laboratory. He was a true gentleman of the west, a class act and a good friend. We are all better because of him, and less because of his absence.

My sympathy goes out to Rex's family and friends. My dad (Charlie Shelton) and Rex's dad were friends. Rex Sr. was so good to us when we first moved to Las Vegas in 1954. He acted as a mentor to Daddy when he first went into business..in competition with Rex Bells on Fremont. We were on the Strip.
I met Rex JR. years later and found him to be so like his Dad and such a nice man. Though we hadn't been in contact for years I feel his loss. Las Vegas doesn't shine quite as...
