Not sure what to say?

What a great man. Coach never forgot anyone that played for him. RIP, sir, and time for a dip.

I will always remember Rex in our class of "59". Happy go lucky, never judgmental and always a friend to everyone. I am sure he will be greatly missed by everyone in his family and circle of friends. Rest in peace our friend! Joanne Jean Carper

Butch and his brother, Rush, were two of the Bennett Street neighborhood kids my brothers and I used to play with in the 40s and 50s. We had a gigantic backyard where we all gathered for baseball games. It was great! Attached is a photo with rush on the left and Butch on the right. I also remember Yvonne as one of the nicest girls from NUHS. So many memories... I send my condolences to Yvonne and the family. Sincerely, Patricia Osborne Stegen

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Rex will always carry a special place in our family´s hearts. He was a loyal friend, a wonderful role model, and always wonderful to be around. Sven Ostrom

Yvonne and family, So sorry for your loss. Rex was a good man and always so kind to me and Dawn in the office.

He instilled in me the passion I have for coaching and caring for injured athletes to this day. Coach Chappell taught me how to throw the javelin, shot, and discus. The throws became my...

I'm going to miss my brother in law so very much. He was a huge part of our family. Love, Jacci
