Rex D. Hamilton, age 61, passed away in Dothan, Alabama Thursday June 13, 2013. A resident of 3561 Glen Chambers Road in Florala. He was a meat market manager in retail grocery. Rex loved his family and was called "Boogie" by his grandchildren and friends. He loved music and would compose and mix country music. Many hours of enjoyment in river fishing and visits to the beach. He took time in selecting clothing and his appearance and accepted his faith in Christ.
Survivors are 2 sons, Chad Hamilton (Jennifer), Jeremy Hamilton all of Destin, Florida, sister, Wanda Morales (David) of Dothan, Al., brother, Jack Hamilton (Jan) of Cottonwood, Al.,10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Glen Hamilton.
Funeral services 11AM Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Liberty Hill Cemetery. A time of visitation at Liberty Hill Assembly of God Church from 10AM to 11AM with Reverend Tony McCullough and Reverend John White officiating.
Interment in the church cemetery.
