Not sure what to say?

We are so sorry to hear of "Uncle Rex's" passing. He was very dear to our family and my parents considered him and Ruth among their best friends. Ruth was one of my mom's favorite golf partners! I'm so sad they have all passed away. Since they share space in the same section of the cemetery, I will think of them both fondly every time I'm out there decorating. I'll miss his stories of WWII when he served with Patton! He never forgot a thing and kept us riveted! He was a wonderful man.

We wish to express our deepest sympathies.

What a great man who lived a great life! We have such respect for him! Even though he was a Brigadier General he always showed humility. It has always been a pleasure to work with him and just spend time with Rex. He will be missed in so many ways. Love to all the family.

My father Lester Elenga knew General Hampton for many years and had the greatest respect for him, and liked him very much. The house my Dad built in the Broadmoor area in the early 70's was designed by Rex Hampton. Although my father passed away in December he would have been greatly saddened by the loss of Mr. Hampton. My Dad said that General Hampton was a very accomplished and great man, yet he was very kind and humble in his treatment of others. I am sorry for your loss.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.
