Not sure what to say?

He was as sweet as the chocolate chip cookies he ordered. He always made me smile. Heaven gained an angel. Sincere condolences. Shanna

Didn't know him. But Jeff I am so sorry for your loss.

God Bless Rex's family. Love Mike & JoAnn

Rex was a steady presence for me while I was in my teens. Always felt welcomed in his home by him and Jo. All of my memories of him are that of a man who was kind, sagacious, and welcoming to me the couple of summers in my life when his son, Jeff and I were running around together. I always thought of him as 'cool' and unrufflable.

The man who taught me to drive a stick shift, on the hills of his East Fairmont neighborhood, no less! He also taught me about unconditional love and devotion to family. Always quick with a smile and a hug, or a word of encouragement, Rex just made those in his presence feel better and feel seen. He remains one of my favorite people of all time. I feel fortunate to have known him and his late wife, Jo, at such an impressionable time of my life.

Rex was a excellent man I grew up next to him and jo on hall street I got the fortune to visit him in August last yr condolences to Jeff he was a fine man

God Bless

God Bless Rex.

Loved Rex he was a wonderful cousin and friend. He watched me and my siblings grow as well as my dad John Postlethwait (RIP) and his brothers. Rex made my husband feel welcomed to the family as they both are retired firemen. My heart goes out to Ann Shy Becky and all the family. Rex lived a very full vivid life. We lost a very great guy and I just know there's one crazy family reunion happening in heaven. Fly high and rest in peace sweet Rex.
