Read MoreI had the pleasure of working with Rex in the mid-70's as an engineer responsible for the Chittim Ranch Field. I remember him as a kind, hard working employee that took the time to do carryout projects in a safe and collaborative manner. Rest in peace Rex.

I started my career with Conoco in their Corpus Christi Division in 1967. During my 5 years there I became friends with Rex and Genevieve. Rex was always willing to help me out during my early years, and I took advantage of his knowledge & experience of the "oil patch". In August 1970, Corpus was devastated by Hurricane Celia, and Rex was just everywhere helping his fellow Conocoans; but that was what Rex did. Rex has now entered God's place of peace, and love, and beauty. RIP, my friend.
