MOULTRIE, GA. - Rex Lamar King passed away on September 1, 2022, at the age of 77 in his hometown of Moultrie, Georgia. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Rex stayed strong until the end.

My sincere sympathy at this sorrowful time. Rex was a joy to be around and always a gentleman. I am amazed at all the things he has done in his lifetime. He loved all his children, their spouses and was very proud of them. He loved all his grands and great grands, they were his joy! Most of all he loved his wife, Ann. My daughter, Marnie, married Rex’s son, Todd, in 1996. Having little to no family, I was always enamored with large families & friends so gravitated to those close to me.
Rex was quite an historian, fun loving, & very much like his father, Jack (Poppa) who both lived life to its fullest. Our last time at our home with Rex & Ann was Christmas Eve in 2014. Years pass, fly so fast the older we get. Wish we could have had one last get-together.
