Not sure what to say?

My dearest Rex, it is so hard to believe it's almost been five years since you left us. Shelby misses you so much and I had to make a huge change in my life to escape all the memories, the hopes and dreams we had for the future and the unbelievable disappointment and pain that came with your passing. There are so many butterflies and cardinals here that keep you fresh on my mind but delighted in the freedom of their flight. You were too precious and good for this world. Fly, be free. ...

I just learned a couple of days ago of Rex's passing. My heart is heavy and even heavier now after learning that his cancer (which is the same cancer that I too, battled) took him away too soon. I worked with Rex and many many others for years with D & L, as well as the Mavericks at the AAC. This world is a little less safe with Rex gone. God bless the family, Sheila and Shelby, and many of the countless friends over the years who had the pleasure of working with Rex. RIP Rex, your pain...

Saturday was sunny and beautiful while we gathered to celebrate Rex and the days since have been cloudy and raining. I think Rex was out there working a deal with Mother Nature to make things work out. I will love you and miss you forever, Rex. There will never be another you. Sheila Rhymes

A true, stalwart man was Rex. The perfect combination of ferocity and sensitivity. I only knew him as his subordinate in entertainment security. He was a great leader, who understood and lived by the code of brotherhood. The world lost a truly marvelous soul.

Rest in heaven where there will be no more struggles, sorrow, our pain.

So sorry for your loss. Rex was indeed one of a kind. I have fond memories of him and how much he loved his daughter Shelby. Rest in Peace Rex.

Sorry sorry for your loss. I worked with Rex at D&L Entertainment. He was such a kind man. He is now your guardian angel. Take care. Cynthia Quinn

Rest in peace, Rex and enjoy Carroll Shelby!
