One of my greatest memories was our trip to Alaska in 1963, Dad and the four of us. Dad drove to Circle, Alaska, the farthest North the road went at that time. We flew in a little plane over the Artic Circle, landed in Fort Yukon, hung out for awhile, then flew back. Dad stayed in the car and a took a nap, I thought he was sick of us.
