It was my privilege to serve with Rex Maughan at the recommend desk on Tuesday evenings at the Bountiful Temple. I truly enjoyed the time I served with Rex. He was a friend to everyone he met.
I was out of town when he passed and was extremely sorry that I was unable to attend he viewing and/or funeral.
Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss.

I just wanted to send my condolences to the Maughan family. Your father was a pillar in the community while I was growing up in West Bountiful. He will be sorely missed.

The photo I posted of Rex and Shirlene is a favorite of mine that I took during a visit with them in January, 2010. We have lost a wonderful man and I share his family's sadness.

Cindy, Had some of my best memories panning for Gold with Rex and Shirlene while traveling in the "Siver Bullet!" He made us smile each morning as he would accidentally run over his own garbage can as we left for the day. He was a great missionary to my dad while we lived in West Bouniful.
