My first year of teaching was at CHS, and Rex was one of my students. I taught 9th grade English. He could always find humor that would make you laugh in times that weren't so humorous. I remember his being a nurse at SFH. Remained the same. Smiling, a touch of humor, etc. it's amazing that I remember him so well. He was kind and caring. My condolences to you, his family.

Dear Alice----Lois and I spotted special words on the grave stone of a little French girl near the LuRay Mansion at Fort Drum New York. They equally apply to your beloved son: "Strew flowers on his grave but weep not for he slumbers with the angels." Our hearts are heavy and we do weep, but we will remember you in our hearts.
Love,

To the Dear Family of Rex, I first met Rex when I was a freshman at CHS, he was always smiling, and kind, even to a very young band member, from the country, which most of the students had little understanding of kids raised on a farm! My husband Mark and I met his Mother while she worked at St. Francis when we both went to work there.. we didn't know each other then, but we met there, and married. Now married 36 years, 3 boys, 2 married, 4 grandchildren. I like to thank Mrs. Milner for her...

I've known Rex since our days at CHS. Our paths crossed again years later at St. Francis. Haven't seen him in years but feel like we've always known each other and could still call him my dear friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his dear family and close friends. He was a special person and will always be remembered.
