Not sure what to say?

Rex lived in my rooming house with me and others while he was studying at NIU. We would all go to the football games on campus. So many great memories. He was a great guy. So sorry he is gone from us.

Rex was one of a kind. A terrific human being-- thoughtful, a great talker and a terrific listener. I enjoyed knowing him during his years in DeKalb, at Northern Illinois University. I love his description of himself as a "highly sociable hermit." My sympathy to Rex's family--we were all lucky to have him.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of my good friend Rex. Having worked with Rex many times, I realized that I was the fabricator and he was the artist and what an artist he was! I will miss you buddy. Rest in peace Rex.

I am so sorry to hear about Rex's passing. He was our neighbor in La Center Wa. We used to see him walking down the road all the time. He made us a beautiful calender one year. He always had a nice smile and was such a pleasant person. Please accept our sincerest consolences.

Skilled in the art of living, always responsible and a great friend, Rex added to the pleasure of xc-skiing, kayaking and more. He and Old Blue traveled well and left good memories. More would have been better, but thanks, Rex, for finally letting me help you drop a tree and lay in a winter's firewood. They were fun times.
