Yes, Lewis, I like Carolyn was very saddened to hear of Rex's death. My life, too, was greatly influenced by him. I am very grateful that I, at least, was able to talk to him on the telephone this past year. He will live on in our memories and hearts.

I am so sorry for your loss; I share in that loss. I have many warm memories of him and they are often in my thoughts as I listen to music all the time and daily I hear a piece or two that brings him to mind, especially marches. He taught me to love music and it has been a part of my life since I was in the 6th grade in Provo.
