The world lost a true newsman, journalist and editor yesterday. To me, he was a brilliant editor, a master of history and a music lover with a sense of humor, untouched.

He was my lunch buddy at Grannys Cafe in Port Angeles and a huge supporter of mine both professionally and personally. I just wish we could have made it to Mexico to visit him. I shall miss him terribly. And Ill make sure hes proud of me,...
