Rey was a very good person. I remember him well when he, Johnny and Carolina Vela (their children) used to visit my home in Cotulla. He was such a happy and positive person. He had a great personality. I used to see him at the Wild Hog Cookoffs. I last saw him and his wife about a year ago at their home. I have very pleasant memories of him. You will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, my student and friend, as you sit with the Lord.

Oh my dear I wish I could of spend more time with u. I did go looking but you were a working man. Your wife was a lucky and fortune to have found you. I'm still so happy that even if your last time I would spend time with u..it was like when we were kids... it was the best time ever to see u happy to see me and that beautiful smile.... I'm going to miss my brother and I got the best memories ever. I love u and until later soon or later we join ... may you rest in peace. Besos...

Sorry to see you go my friend, I enjoyed working for you at CISD and got to know you. I will always remember the great conversations we had over lunch and the time you helped out one of my employees like he was part of your family. I speak for all of us over here, you will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace my Brother...

I met Rey when I was a teenager. He lived behind a good friend of mine when we met. He always greeted me with a smile and a handshake and would ask if I was keeping out of trouble. He always shelled out good advice to my friends and I. I want to say that it was an honor to have known Rey, and a true blessing to have him as a friend.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

I will cherish all the wonderful memories Rey , gone to soon . We love you always and forever !

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
