Grief is such a strange thing to live with after 21 years. As you would expect, the month of July continues to be the one that is likely to be the most difficult. It is especially kind of Nina, Robin and Jill to remember us today. I am most blessed with many friends who reached out via texts and phone calls this week. I know this is is very random, but it indeed has been 20 yrs and i still think of him often, despite being so far removed from his closest people. I just wanted his loved ones to know that... indeed his legacy lives on, through people like me who think of him often, despite knowing him only briefly and somewhat tangentially. He was just one of the coolest and best guys i ever knew.

It is hard to believe. Today, July 22, 2024 means that it has now been 20 years since Rhett died. There have been so many moments that we have returned to mourning as if we have just learned of Rhett's death. Memories, friends and family, faith and hope have kept us walking along life's journey.
