Rhoda Claire Bishop

We think and talk of Rhoda often. She was such a loving welcoming person. I still remember the story of her watering her plants around the pool and falling in!!! She thought it was sooooo funny. I loved her spirit.

Ms. Long. I am quite certain I never met you. I left Tunk. in 1952. Peter @ I played together in the old jail in the 1940's.

Dear Tom and Family,

Please know that you and Rhoda are my heart and thoughts. Rhoda always brought a smile to my face. She was so warm an welcoming to everyone. I felt like I had known her a lifetime. The curtains she made from left over fabric from her daughter's wedding dress still hang in my kitchen in Palmerton! May your memories help confort you and fill your hearts.

I am very sorry for your loss. Please gain comfort in reading God's word the Bible. As you read you will see how much God care for you and your family at this time of sorrow. James 4:8

I recall thinking,Roda was so special when she visited Tunkhannock many years ago.As I read of her life she was special.
